DIRECTIONS
From I-70 take Exit #116 (Glenwood Springs - Aspen Exit) - Follow signs that say "to ski slopes, Aspen" which Highway 82. Go 10 - 12 miles on Highway 82 - then go south or right on Highway 133 (Carbondale, Redstone) - Go about 6 to 7 miles on Highway 133. The Crystal River Resort is on the left side.

GROCERY STORES
While Crystal River Resort Cabins & Campground has a small store with an assortment of supplies located in the Lodge / Office, groceries and supplies are available in Carbondale 6 miles north at the junction of Highway 133 and 82. A large, well-supplied City Market is located at 1051 Highway 133, Carbondale. Just next door to the City Market in Carbondale is a large Ace Hardware Store with camping supplies and a large selection of outdoor goods and hardware. A Radio Shack is located in the same shopping center. Other large retail outlets are located 10 miles south of Carbondale in Glenwood Springs including a large Wal-Mart at 3010 Blake Avenue.

RESTAURANTS
A few of our favorite local restaurants are:

Six 89 Main, 689 Main, Carbondale, phone: 970-963-6890. This restaurant is a bit high-priced, but well worth it if you're willing to spend a few extra dollars.
White House Pizza, 801 Main, phone: 970-704-9400.
Crystal Club Café, 467 Redstone Blvd., Redstone phone: 970-963-9515.
For breakfast the Village Smithy, 26 South 3rd, Carbondale phone: 970-963-9990.
Flying Fork Café & Bakery, 101 3rd Street, Paonia phone: 970-527-3203. This is not really a local restaurant, it's 54 miles south of our Resort on Highway 133. But if you're planning to drive the West Elk Loop Colorado Scenic and Historic Route (check under Area Attractions), then plan a stop for lunch or dinner at the Flying Fork.

Many other Restaurants are located in the Roaring Fork Valley between Glenwood Springs and Aspen featuring many different cuisines with a full range of prices. The Woody Creek Tavern (phone: 970-923-4585) not only has great food, but you never know what celebrity you might see there. It's about 25 minutes up valley from Carbondale about ½ way between Basalt and Aspen.
